Did you Enable the B Battery with the Computer HD Jumper trick? You don't need any Fancy Schmancy Delphi Plug. Just a simple two prong jumper from an old computer Hard Drive. But put it where the article says to. Now as for placement of the LI-Ion Battery Pack, I mounted mine on the Seat Post Down tube and it worked wonderfully. Just make sure you match the Voltage and Amps of the NimH Battery and make sure you get a battery pack with at least I think its like 35 amps continuous Load Rating. Then just plug it into the Battery plug at the back, I had to purchase Anderson Connectors from Amazon but they are relatively cheap. And don't use the charger that came with the Wavecrest use the one that should come with the new battery. Good Luck.D Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13987458053970131277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8112204456104720588.post-65338679721489012842020-12-31T10:43:28.780-05:002020-12-31T10:43:28.780-05:00First answer, NO! The jumper itself is too wide but if you sand the sides down a bit it will fit in and it works. You only need to short the two pins so why use the Delphi when this method works fine. I have had LEVT rebuild the hub battery A. The bike functions as new. Very well balance and fast. Range is poor with the 9.5 AH 36 V NiMH battery. I understand the instructions regarding the jumper but am unclear if the the jumper is needed in the event I have a perfectly good battery A and want to add a 10S Li ion battery B. There is no communication cable for the B battery so I assume that any 30 - 42 V battery can be connected without the jumper. What is your experience? The TF system is still very elegant and works better than most other ebikes (IMHO). It's smooth, quiet, and powerful with a 3rd party battery.AmbroseLiaohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13280813342286364762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8112204456104720588.post-49489424577537524122019-02-11T00:11:31.613-05:002019-02-11T00:11:31.613-05:00Is this page still up?
